1. Who provides SizePilot
SizePilot is provided by Mustafa Oğuz Baran, an independent developer. This policy applies to the current SizePilot iOS app and this support website.
2. Information the app collects
SizePilot has no account system and does not upload your photos to a developer-operated server. The free plan includes Google Mobile Ads, which may process technical information such as IP-derived approximate location, device or app identifiers, ad interactions, advertising data, and diagnostics. This information is used to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and keep the service reliable.
3. Photos and permissions
You choose photos through Apple’s system photo picker. The app receives only the items you select; it does not require unrestricted read access to your photo library.
When you choose “Save all,” SizePilot requests add-only permission so it can create compressed copies in Photos. The app does not automatically delete or modify originals.
4. On-device processing
Compression runs on your device. Selected photos and compressed outputs are not uploaded to a server operated by the developer. Temporary working files may be stored in the app’s protected cache and are removed when the compression flow is closed; iOS may also manage cached files.
5. Photo metadata
You can keep all metadata, remove location metadata, or remove all supported metadata from the new compressed copy. Your selected setting is applied locally. The original is not changed.
6. Network services and third parties
The free plan uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google’s certified User Messaging Platform (UMP). SizePilot does not directly trigger Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Where a regulatory consent message is required, UMP presents that message before SizePilot makes any ad request. If Apple’s tracking status is denied, restricted, or not determined, or if the consent flow cannot be completed but Google still permits an ad request, SizePilot explicitly requests a non-personalized ad. If Google does not permit ads to be requested, SizePilot makes no ad request. The publisher first-party identifier is disabled in every case.
Google and its advertising partners may process limited device or app identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, advertising data, and diagnostics to deliver and measure ads, limit repetition, provide security, and prevent fraud. Google’s SDK privacy manifest classifies Device ID as data that may be used for tracking, so SizePilot discloses that use in its App Store privacy details. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
If Apple’s tracking permission was previously denied or restricted, SizePilot does not automatically show the required consent message again as another tracking request. You can review or change available choices yourself from Settings → Ad privacy when Google requires that control. If SizePilot Pro is active, the banner is removed and the app does not request ads during ordinary use.
Apple services such as Photos, iCloud, StoreKit, and the App Store may process information under Apple’s own terms when you use system features, download an iCloud-stored item, or buy or restore a subscription. The developer does not receive your full payment details.
7. This website
This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Its hosting and security providers may process routine request data—such as IP address, browser information, and timestamps—to deliver and protect the site. The developer does not use that technical data to build advertising profiles.
8. Retention and deletion
Because the app does not create an account or send your photos to the developer, the developer has no app-hosted photo library to retain or delete. You control saved outputs through Photos and the iOS storage controls on your device. Google and Apple control retention of information processed by their services under their own policies.
9. Children
SizePilot is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. Ads are configured with a general-audience content rating. If you are not old enough to consent to data processing in your country, use the app only with a parent or guardian’s involvement.
10. Changes and contact
This policy will be updated if the app’s data practices materially change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Questions can be sent through the contact method on the Support page.
